Hyperfocal Design’s second V-Series collection is Night Skies 2. Available as download only, it contains 20 super high-resolution night and twilight sky textures, including two bonus HDR moon images. These huge night skies textures measure 14,000X3,500 pixels in TIF and JPG format.
These night skies were noise filtered in specialist noise filtering software to achieve a balance between image clarity, sharpness and noise reduction. Noise is a common feature of long exposure night sky textures, but if you watch the above Requiem video you can get an idea of what the end result can be. Typically the longer your zoom level and the more image adjustment made, the more noise will become visible. Our customers to date have been extremely pleased with this collection and the filtering we apply to our night sky textures.
